Overview

We are partnering with a well-established Managed IT Services Provider based in Midtown Manhattan to find an experienced Level 3 Systems/Network Engineer. They provide outsourced IT services to a specialized client base, including mission-driven non-profits and high-demand financial services firms.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and implement complex IT infrastructure projects including cloud migrations, client onboarding, and technology upgrades
• Support and administer environments built on Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Hyper-V, and VMware
• Configure and maintain network equipment, including routing, VLANs, and firewall deployments
• Manage and secure environments using tools like MFA, DNS protection, endpoint security, and spam filtering
• Provide high-level support across desktop, server, and network layers, stepping in on urgent Level 1 issues when needed
• Conduct infrastructure assessments and create detailed documentation using tools like Network Detective

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment
• Deep technical expertise with Microsoft servers, cloud infrastructure, and network administration
• Strong grasp of PowerShell scripting, ConnectWise, VMware/Hyper-V, and shared storage solutions
• Excellent troubleshooting and project execution skills
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
