Company:

Our client is an established Microsoft Dynamics partner that implements and supports accounting systems for businesses across the Northeast. You will join their team and work on site with one of their customers in the Eagle Rock area of New Jersey.

Compensation:

$32 to $40 per hour. Temporary or temporary-to-permanent.

Job Location:

Eagle Rock area (Essex County), New Jersey. On site 4 days per week.

Role Summary:

Our client needs an accounting specialist who already knows Microsoft Dynamics SL. You will handle both sides of the ledger, payables and receivables, for a customer that runs on Dynamics SL every day.

Your week is invoices, vendor payments, customer billing, and cash application, plus account reconciliations and month-end close support. You will work independently and stay in close contact with the customer's management team.

The role starts as a temporary assignment. If you perform well and prove reliable, they want to bring you on permanently.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices and prepare vendor payments in Microsoft Dynamics SL.
• Create customer invoices and apply incoming cash to open receivables.
• Reconcile accounts and research discrepancies until they balance.
• Support collections by following up on past-due customer balances.
• Help prepare month-end close entries, schedules, and reports.
• Keep vendor and customer records accurate and current.

Qualifications:

• Current, hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon). Strong Microsoft Dynamics GP users are also considered.
• Solid experience handling both accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Working knowledge of account reconciliations and month-end close.
• Strong attention to detail and organized work habits.
• Comfortable working on your own and communicating with management.
• Able to work on site in the Eagle Rock area 4 days per week.
