Role Summary
Our client is a well-established and respected independent insurance broker with roots dating back to 1972. Known for their white-glove service model and tailored advisory approach, they work with clients across risk management, business and operational risks, transactional risks, and claims and litigation. Their team is made up of proven professionals who take a solutions-oriented, client-first approach to everything they do.
You will own the claims management process from start to finish for an assigned book of clients, with a focus on delivering exceptional outcomes and service. You will handle diverse lines of business with an emphasis on personal lines claims for high-net-worth individuals. This is a high-volume, fast-paced role that rewards urgency, accuracy, and the ability to navigate complex coverage issues with composure.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full claims lifecycle for assigned clients with a sense of urgency and a focus on achieving the best possible outcomes.
- Proactively identify and work through moderate to complex coverage issues across diverse lines of business.
- Complete Desk Reviews and Large Loss Reviews, including detailed facts, liability and damages analysis, and renewal-related status reporting.
- Coordinate and facilitate both carrier-led and firm-led claim reviews on behalf of clients.
- Maintain accurate claim documentation and diaries in Applied Epic in accordance with best practices.
- Build and sustain strong working relationships with internal teams, carrier partners, and clients, including developing independent client relationships with oversight from the Director of Claims.
Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of relevant claims experience across multiple lines of business.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Proficiency in Applied Epic strongly preferred.
- Technical claims proficiency in one or more of the following: Auto, General Liability, Property, or Workers' Compensation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and high case volume without sacrificing accuracy.
- Ability to travel occasionally and flexibility to work outside regular business hours when client needs require.

- $80,000–$90,000 base salary + discretionary bonus
