Job Title: Logistics Finance Associate Manager
 Location: Hybrid – Based in White Plains, NY (Primarily remote; occasional in-office training, project, or month-end support)
 Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential to Convert to Permanent)
 Schedule: 40 hours/week with additional overtime expected during month-end cycles
 Pay Rate: $48.27/hour (~$100,500 annually + overtime)
Position Overview
We’re seeking a Logistics Finance Associate Manager to support finance operations for a large, multi-site warehouse network within a leading global food and beverage organization. This role acts as a strategic business partner to warehouse operations—analyzing costs, forecasting trends, and identifying opportunities to improve financial performance. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in financial modeling and supply chain finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Analysis:
-  Support monthly close, forecast, and annual planning activities for warehouse operations.
- Reporting & Variance Analysis:
-  Prepare and analyze financial reports, summarize performance metrics, and explain cost drivers and variances.
- Cost Forecasting:
-  Develop and maintain cost models for warehouse operations, including Pallets, Other Logistics Costs (OLC), and Loss & Disposal (L&D).
- Operational Business Partnering:
-  Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and supply chain teams to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and influence financial outcomes.
- Process Improvement:
-  Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements across warehouse operations and logistics functions.
- Month-End Support:
-  Assist in reconciliations, journal entries, and closing activities; manage tight deadlines and ensure data accuracy under time pressure.
- Performance Communication:
-  Present financial results, forecasts, and risk assessments to operational and finance leadership teams.
- Strategic Decision Support:
-  Model financial impacts of new initiatives, process changes, or supply chain decisions to guide business planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably within supply chain, logistics, or CPG environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling, and automation).
- Experience with SAP, Power BI, or other ERP/reporting systems preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Proven ability to work independently under tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and influencing non-financial partners.
