Frozen Inventory Planning Coordinator

Position Summary

The Frozen Inventory Planning Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and managing frozen inventory levels across multiple regional locations to support efficient operations and customer order fulfillment.


Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely replenishment of inventory across regional locations on a rolling 7-week schedule to support customer order fulfillment
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Service and Sales teams to anticipate inventory requirements related to promotions, seasonal demand shifts, and sales initiatives
  • Review aging inventory and coordinate stock reallocations to appropriate locations to minimize excess inventory and improve product utilization
  • Support frozen production planning and scheduling activities to maintain operational efficiency and on-time fulfillment
  • Monitor unplanned inventory movements and adjust inventory plans and distribution strategies as needed to maintain supply continuity
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of individuals and departments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience

  • 0–1 year of experience and/or training in a related field required
  • 1–2 years of related experience preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Extended use of a computer keyboard
  • Frequent sitting, reading, writing, and hand/eye coordination
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to push/pull, bend, twist/turn, and stand as needed

Working Conditions

  • Primarily office-based work environment

  • Decisions directly impact inventory planning, freight costs, and operational budgets
  • Errors may impact customer fulfillment and overall operational efficiency

  • Requires moderate initiative and independent judgment

  • No direct supervisory responsibilities
