Core Focus: Entry to mid-level systems engineering support for test system design, requirements, and verification
- Key Skills & Tools:
- Systems design and test planning for complex hardware systems
- Requirements development, documentation, and validation
- Test set-up, hardware integration, and embedded test protocols
- Verification, validation, and transition of test equipment into production
- Familiarity with DoD programs, test methodologies, and modeling/simulation tools
- Responsibilities:
- Coordinate across engineering disciplines to define test environment requirements
- Develop and maintain system-level documentation and test requirements
- Support test system design, integration, and verification/validation activities
- Identify risks and propose design solutions throughout the product lifecycle
- Contribute to test process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives
LEVEL III – Senior Systems Engineer (ENG03)

- Key Skills & Tools:
- Advanced systems engineering, integration, and validation practices
- Test requirements development, documentation, and lifecycle management
- Hands-on experience with models, simulations, test beds, and prototypes
- Familiarity with hardware manufacturing, embedded test, and user operations
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams
- Responsibilities:
- Drive system-level test design and validation strategies across engineering teams
- Define and manage requirements, test methodologies, and specialized test capital needs
- Support affordability initiatives by optimizing built-in-test and lifecycle efficiency
- Collaborate with internal teams and external defense customers on technical requirements
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance testing robustness and cost performance
Common Requirements (All Levels)
- Active Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship required
- Onsite in Tucson, AZ (no remote option)
- Experience with systems design, test planning, and hardware/software integration
- Strong understanding of verification/validation, DoD standards, and system lifecycle
- Proficiency in technical documentation, requirements management, and problem-solving
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate complex concepts clearly
