Position Overview
- We are hiring a Senior Construction Manager, Division 27 to lead field execution for structured cabling and low-voltage infrastructure systems on complex, mission-critical construction projects.
- This role owns Division 27 execution from startup and planning through installation, testing, closeout, and turnover.
- The Senior Construction Manager will lead self-perform crews, subcontractors, foremen, and field leadership teams to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
- This position requires strong field leadership, schedule discipline, installation sequencing expertise, and the ability to keep production moving across technically complex environments.
- The ideal candidate understands how Division 27 work integrates with electrical, security, network, and adjacent construction scopes.
- This role is focused on coordinated execution, room readiness, release-to-work planning, productivity, system readiness, and successful turnover.
What You Will Do
- Lead all Division 27 field operations across foremen, field leadership, self-perform crews, and subcontracted teams
- Own structured cabling and low-voltage infrastructure execution from planning through turnover
- Drive installation sequencing and workflow planning to support release dates, short-interval planning, and project milestones
- Coordinate closely with electrical, security, network, and related construction trades
- Ensure installation dependencies are understood, sequenced, and properly aligned
- Maintain field accountability for safety, quality, productivity, schedule, and turnover readiness
- Enforce installation standards, productivity expectations, material readiness requirements, and milestone commitments
- Manage daily field performance and production flow
- Identify and remove coordination issues, access challenges, sequencing conflicts, and production barriers
- Implement corrective actions when schedules, workforce productivity, or production goals are at risk
- Support startup planning, strike-team deployment, and execution standard rollout across project teams
- Lead subcontractor performance across manpower planning, sequencing, quality, installation progress, and closeout
- Oversee punch list resolution, testing validation, documentation completion, and turnover preparation
- Ensure field teams are executing work as part of an integrated system rather than isolated task completion
- Coach and mentor foremen and frontline leaders
- Build scalable field teams capable of independently executing work packages
- Stay actively engaged onsite to validate alignment between planning assumptions and actual field conditions
- Partner with project leadership, technical teams, field operations, and customers to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions

Required Experience
- 8 to 12+ years of experience in construction execution, field operations, or mission-critical infrastructure environments
- Experience managing Division 27, structured cabling, or low-voltage installation scopes
- Experience leading self-perform crews and subcontracted field operations
- Experience managing structured cabling systems, network environments, and low-voltage infrastructure
- Experience assessing workface conditions and driving execution discipline in the field
- Experience managing room readiness, release-to-work sequencing, and schedule-driven production environments
- Experience with subcontractor management, including manpower planning, sequencing control, quality oversight, and closeout management
- Experience coordinating across multiple trades in technically complex construction environments
- Experience removing field barriers and maintaining production flow
- Experience mentoring foremen, frontline leaders, or field supervisors
- Experience balancing schedule, productivity, quality, safety, and turnover objectives
- Experience managing work through release and turnover gates rather than solely through labor progress metrics
Preferred Experience
- Data center construction experience

- Familiarity with Division 26 and Division 28 interface work
- Experience supporting testing, commissioning, and turnover-driven environments
