Job Title: UX (User Experience) Consumer & Sensory Contractor – UX Manager
 Location: Hybrid – Based in Louisville, CO
 Schedule: 20 hours per week
 Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential to Extend)
Position Overview
The UX Consumer & Sensory Contractor will manage and execute consumer and sensory research projects to support innovation and product excellence across multiple brands. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners to design learning plans, analyze insights, and guide data-driven decisions that improve the overall consumer experience. This part-time role is ideal for a seasoned sensory and consumer insights professional who thrives in a flexible, high-impact environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage consumer and sensory research to support product development and improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with R&I, Market Research, and Brand teams to create learning plans and guide research execution.
- Deliver actionable insights from qualitative and quantitative studies that shape product design and innovation pipelines.
- Translate complex consumer feedback into clear recommendations for business and technical teams.
- Influence decision-making across multiple functions by representing the consumer voice.
- Identify emerging trends and sensory opportunities to enhance brand performance and consumer satisfaction.
- Present findings to stakeholders in a concise, data-focused, and strategic manner.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Food Science, Sensory Science, Market Research, or related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in Consumer Research and/or Sensory Evaluation within the CPG industry.
- Proven expertise in both qualitative and quantitative consumer and sensory methodologies.
- Strong analytical and interpretation skills to convert data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of influencing cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred
- Experience with food or beverage products, particularly dairy or high-speed manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with innovation pipelines and category-level sensory strategy development.
