Our Human Resources - Employee Benefits team works with internal and external partners to ensure Danone provides a comprehensive and competitive benefits package to engage employees in health and financial wellbeing. By joining our team, you will lead the administration of programs including medical, prescription drug, life, disability, the EAP, and a suite of voluntary benefit programs.
Responsibilities:
You will develop, implement, and manage benefit policies, systems, programs, and procedures while managing the day-to-day administration of assigned benefit programs including vendor relationships and deploying meaningful communications that promote engagement and awareness.
You will administer day-to-day operations of assigned programs and serve as Subject Matter Expert for medical, prescription drug, LOA and Disability, voluntary programs, EAP, and customer advocacy.
You will ensure the accuracy of benefit enrollment in the outsourced benefits platform.
You will evaluate and recommend optimization opportunities for benefit programs including methods, providers, costs, fiscal implications, and tools in a coherent and harmonized manner.
You will work with vendors and consultants to analyze data and provide program experience tracking and reporting.
You will review, reconcile, and approve benefit invoices for assigned programs.
You will develop, design, distribute, and present benefits information for new hire orientations, open enrollment, and other informational sessions.
You will coordinate and vendor manage administrative processing, work methods, resource optimization, budget control, training, and development plans.
You will respond to benefits inquiries, monitor eligibility status, and assist participants with submitting and monitoring various claims.
You will collaborate with internal partners including HRIS, Payroll, Legal, Safety, Procurement, Communications, and Finance teams on implementation, processing, budgeting, forecasting, communication, and compliance of assigned benefit programs.
You will assist with developing and administering employee wellness programs, benefits fairs, and various employee events.
You will manage and monitor assigned vendor programs including researching best practices, analyzing annual review data, implementing program offerings, increasing engagement levels, developing communications, answering inquiries, and maintaining compliance.
You will ensure the LOA Disability program administration and process orientation is optimized for the employee experience while maintaining review, education, and training with HR staff, Line Managers, and Safety teams.
You will maintain knowledge of market and legislative benefits trends and evaluate costs and benefits to the company while ensuring compliance requirements are met including 5500 filings, 1094/5C filing, ARPA, PPACA, and NDT testing.
About You:
Bachelor’s degree.
10+ years of experience working in Human Resources with a focus on employee benefits administration and management.
Previous knowledge of Microsoft products including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Working knowledge of the standard principles of human resources benefits management.
Knowledge of employee benefits regulations, language, principles and practices, and operating procedures.
Effective oral and written communication skills with co-workers, administrative personnel, benefit vendors, and the public while remaining sensitive to professional ethics, gender, cultural diversities, and disabilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
