LEAD ENGINEER - PRINCIPAL ENGINEER - Avionics Power Supply/Analog Circuit Design

Objectives of this Role:

  • Provide engineering oversight for complex embedded systems designs.
  • Perform Electrical Power Supply and Analog design, development and test activities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in power supply and analog circuit design.
  • Develop schematics, PCBA bring up, test, and troubleshoot for embedded systems.
  • Support digital circuit designs.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Lead hardware designs to ensure all hardware/system requirements are met.
  • Serves as analog and power supply circuit SME. Verifies all architectural requirements are satisfied.
  • Leads/mentors junior engineering staff in the development of hardware/analog designs that satisfy approved architecture for system.
  • Leads Junior Engineering staff in the development and testing of embedded avionics hardware on MIL-SPEC flight-worthy hardware.
  • Travel to customer sites to support final integration testing in customer System Integration Labs and/or Fielded System/Aircraft.

Requirements:

  • Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering; Masters in Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • 8 years: Embedded hardware design and test of avionics grade power supplies and analog circuits. Schematic and PWB design.
  • Leading hardware design and development teams for embedded systems.
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required.

Special Requirements:

Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
