LEAD ENGINEER - PRINCIPAL ENGINEER - Avionics Power Supply/Analog Circuit Design
Who We Are:
Our Client's Tactical Aerospace supports U.S. and friendly foreign governments through air and ground Aerospace systems.
Objectives of this Role:
- Provide engineering oversight for complex embedded systems designs.
- Perform Electrical Power Supply and Analog design, development and test activities.
- Provide subject matter expertise in power supply and analog circuit design.
- Develop schematics, PCBA bring up, test, and troubleshoot for embedded systems.
- Support digital circuit designs.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Lead hardware designs to ensure all hardware/system requirements are met.
- Serves as analog and power supply circuit SME. Verifies all architectural requirements are satisfied.
- Leads/mentors junior engineering staff in the development of hardware/analog designs that satisfy approved architecture for system.
- Leads Junior Engineering staff in the development and testing of embedded avionics hardware on MIL-SPEC flight-worthy hardware.
- Travel to customer sites to support final integration testing in customer System Integration Labs and/or Fielded System/Aircraft.
Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering; Masters in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- 8 years: Embedded hardware design and test of avionics grade power supplies and analog circuits. Schematic and PWB design.
- Leading hardware design and development teams for embedded systems.
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.
