Position Overview
- We are hiring a Senior Construction Manager, Division 28 to lead field execution for integrated security and low-voltage systems across complex, large-scale, and mission-critical construction projects.
- This role owns Division 28 execution from installation through testing, commissioning support, closeout, and turnover.
- The Senior Construction Manager will lead self-perform crews, subcontractors, vendors, foremen, and field leadership teams to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
- This position plays a key role in managing access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, electrified openings, and integrated security systems.
- A major focus of this role is coordinating Division 28 systems with Division 8 door hardware, Division 26 power, fire alarm, IT/network infrastructure, and related trade interfaces.
- The ideal candidate brings strong field leadership, system integration knowledge, schedule discipline, technical coordination skills, and the ability to drive accountability across complex construction environments.
What You Will Do
- Lead all Division 28 field activities across self-perform crews, subcontractors, vendors, and field leadership teams
- Own integrated security system execution from installation through testing and turnover
- Manage installation of access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and integrated security systems
- Own electrified opening coordination across door hardware, power, controls, and security systems
- Coordinate closely with Division 8, Division 26, fire alarm, IT/network teams, and related stakeholders
- Implement and maintain a structured accountability process for each opening from installation through testing and turnover
- Ensure openings progress without late-stage coordination issues
- Maintain accountability for test-ready and turnover-ready system conditions
- Identify and eliminate execution gaps before commissioning activities begin
- Monitor workforce productivity, installation sequencing, milestone performance, and field execution progress
- Facilitate daily and weekly planning meetings with field leadership and subcontractors
- Maintain workforce readiness and production flow
- Identify manpower gaps, sequencing issues, resource constraints, and execution risks before they impact delivery
- Track installation progress, deficiencies, punch items, turnover requirements, and documentation status
- Support integrated system testing, commissioning activities, and final turnover processes
- Coach and mentor foremen and field leadership teams
- Strengthen field leadership capability and team accountability
- Enforce site discipline, safety requirements, quality standards, and company policies across project activities
- Partner with project teams, technical specialists, field leadership, and customers to resolve complex execution issues

Required Experience
- 10 to 15+ years of construction experience with significant focus on Division 28 or integrated low-voltage systems
- Experience leading large-scale or mission-critical construction projects
- Experience managing access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and integrated security systems
- Experience coordinating electrified openings and Division 8 door hardware interfaces
- Experience coordinating power, control, hardware, and system interfaces across multiple trades
- Experience with system integration and sequence-driven execution
- Experience leading self-perform crews and subcontracted workforces
- Experience managing room readiness, release-to-work logic, turnover sequencing, and short-interval planning
- Experience driving field productivity and maintaining execution accountability
- Experience mentoring foremen, frontline leaders, or field leadership teams
- Experience operating in high-pressure, fast-paced construction environments
- Experience coordinating across multiple technical disciplines and stakeholder groups
