Job Title: Lab Technician (ASTM and CEC Testing)

Job Description:

• Learn and perform ASTM and CEC tests.
• Assist in procuring samples for testing.
• Return samples to the log-in area or other areas of the lab as required.
• Use hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.) to support lab tasks.
• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Support senior personnel in performing ASTM and CEC testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Shift work, overtime, weekends, and adjusted work schedules may be required.
• Main objective: Support senior workers in performing ASTM and CEC testing.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools.
• 0 to 2 years of experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend and stoop.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds (assisted).
• Full range of motion with hands and arms required.
• Steel toe shoes required.
• Position is considered safety sensitive.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Work Conditions

• Dress code: Business casual.
• Work hours: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
• Weekends and holidays may be required.
