Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for an HVAC Engineer opportunity in Erwin, TN.


Work location is 100% onsite.


Job Description:

  • Design of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning (HVAC) and plumbing systems serving heavy commercial, industrial, and power industries.
  • Perform equipment sizing, thermal load, and ductwork sizing calculations.
  • Develop procurement specifications, prepare engineering drawings such as piping and instrument diagrams (P&ID), airflow diagrams, equipment plan, and ductwork layout drawings.
  • Exercise sound engineering judgment in assessing problem situations or complex issues, review completed work to ensure accuracy and compliance with codes and design criteria.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university.
  • 4+ years of experience with the design of building services (HVAC) systems serving powerplants, heavy industrial and commercial applications.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
