Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking a Talent Sourcer to join our nationwide team. We are a professional and technical services, engineering, and construction projects firm with a dual focus on our employees and clients and hold numerous Department of Energy (DOE) and commercial contracts across the United States.

 

Work Location: Aiken, SC

 

Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Sourcer to support our recruiting team by identifying, engaging, and building pipelines of qualified candidates. This role plays a critical part in driving talent acquisition efforts by leveraging creative sourcing strategies, market research, and relationship-building skills.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify and source qualified candidates using a variety of channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, social media, networking, and internal databases
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Partner closely with recruiters to understand role requirements and candidate profiles
  • Conduct initial outreach to candidates and assess interest, availability, and basic qualifications
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and activity tracking in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract diverse talent
  • Perform market research and talent mapping to support workforce planning
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the sourcing and engagement process

 

Experience:

  • Five (5) to ten (10) + years of relevant talent acquisition experience (preferably in the nuclear, DOE, and/or engineering industries).
  • Strong technical skills in PC operating systems; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook), data entry, and database management.
  • Proficient in ATS and operations software.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Must be willing and able to participate in improving an ongoing process that helps an office work group evolve into a cohesive unit.
  • Must be able to prioritize and complete tasks with a sense of urgency and accuracy.
  • Possess excellent professional oral, written, and grammatical communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Well-organized, flexible, and able to prioritize a diversified workload.
  • Customer service-oriented professional with the ability to effectively interact with active candidates and our clients.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience sourcing technical personnel (e.g. engineers in multiple disciples) across the DOE complex.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
