Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Delivery Manager (Glovebox) opportunity to support the Savannah River Site.

Delivery Manager (Glovebox) -


The Delivery Manager (Glovebox) is responsible for overseeing the execution and delivery of critical materials and equipment to meet project scope, schedule, and quality objectives. This role provides leadership and coordination across Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Construction teams, ensuring supplier performance aligns with technical and contractual requirements. The Delivery Manager develops a deep understanding of supplier and customer processes to anticipate challenges, mitigate risks, and implement innovative, compliant solutions that drive successful project delivery.

 

Duties:

 

  • Report to the Project Delivery Manager and coordinate with Control Account Managers for assigned projects.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional efforts with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant material/equipment delivery.
  • Monitor supplier performance (schedule, cost, and quality) and provide regular progress updates and recommendations to project stakeholders.
  • Manage supplier relationships to maintain communication, resolve issues, and drive performance improvements.
  • Oversee delivery of technical and quality documentation supporting project mission requirements.
  • Evaluate supplier risks related to technical, cost, schedule, and quality factors; develop and track mitigation plans using key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Review technical and commercial documents for compliance with contract requirements.
  • Support development and maintenance of integrated action item lists to address execution and delivery barriers.
  • Provide technical recommendations to resolve supplier deviations, scope changes, and non-conformances.
  • Validate schedule progress, milestone completion, and payment deliverables through on-site supplier visits (up to 100% travel required).
  • Facilitate closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective Action Reports (CARs).
  • Support cost and variance analysis, reporting, and contract compliance activities.
  • Ensure effective communication and proactive issue management across all project and supplier interfaces.

 

Education:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or an Engineering discipline (e.g. Industrial, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering), and ten (10) years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree and five (5) years of relevant experience OR fifteen (15) or more years of relevant education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements.


Skills/Experience:

 

·       Advanced experience in engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, quality, and scheduling.

·       Two (2) years of Project or Program Management.

·       Five (5) years of experience working in a DOE/NNSA NQA-1 environment.

·       Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Projects and/or Oracle P6 scheduling software.

·       Advanced knowledge in reading and interpreting fabrication drawings, codes and specifications.

·       Two (2) years of experience with Government contracting.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • APICS Certifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Professional registration as a professional engineer
  • Earned Value Management systems (EVMS) certification and implementation experience.

Salary is commensurate with education and experience and may range between $165K and $220K (DOE) annually.
