Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Quality Control Representative - Certified Welding Inspector opportunity to support the Savannah River Site.


Work Location: Huntsville, AL


Quality Control Representative - Certified Welding Inspector


Duties:

 

  • Oversight of quality and technical reviews of work packages and designs.
  • Oversight of supplier inspection activities
  • Review of radiographic film and other nondestructive test result
  • Verification of specific Supplier Quality Assurance Program implementation activities.
  • Resolve discrepancies identified in work packages and designs.
  • Perform duties as liaison to (or act as) ASME B31.3 Owner's Inspector as defined in Para. 340 of ASME 831.3.
  • Prepare Surveillance Plans and Surveillance Reports.

 

Education:

 

  • High School diploma or GED

 

Experience:

 

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Industrial Quality Control associated with mechanical design/fabrication, and/or examination/inspection of industrial pressure piping.
  • Areas of focus should be on Nondestructive Examinations (NDE/NDT) and/or Welding aspects of the equipment and associated piping systems.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
