Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a CAD Administrator opportunity in Johnson City, TN.
Position Overview and Responsibilities:
The CAD Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) systems used on a large-scale construction project. This role ensures the integrity, consistency, and availability of engineering and construction drawings while enforcing CAD standards, managing user access, supporting project teams, and coordinating with engineering disciplines, contractors, and document control personnel. The CAD Administrator will be responsible for creating specs and catalogs for 3D software programs.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Drafting Design Technology
- 20+ years of experience in design and 3D CAD software
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and related 3D Software
- Experience supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards and drafting practices
