Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Security Escort/Helper opportunity in Erwin, TN.

 

100% on-site position

 

Job Description:

Escorts/Helpers are primarily responsible to perform protective service and escort work such as escorting uncleared individuals into designated buildings and property, protecting equipment and material, and controlling access to installations by employees and visitors. The Escort will ensure positive control of all approved but uncleared individuals – from verification of identify upon arrival at the facility to personally escorting them within the facility and ensuring they exit appropriately. May have other job duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

·        Ability to escort uncleared personnel while maintaining total control of escorted personnel’s movement.

·        Ability to understand plant safety regulations, plant audible alarms to ensure that the personnel being escorted operate in a safe manner under your guidance.

·        Ability to work extended work hours if requested.

·        Ability to assist craft labor as a helper if required:

o  Ability to work safely.

o  Ability to carry materials up to 40 lbs.

o  Ability to climb ladder and work at elevated heights if required.

o  Ability to follow direction of craft journeyman that you are assigned too.

·        Active DOD Top Secret or DOE Q Clearance highly preferred.

·        Ability to obtain DOE Q Clearance required.

·        Must be a US Citizen

 

Working Conditions:

Ability to work outside and in adverse weather conditions if required, i.e., heat, cold, rain.
