Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Project Coordinator opportunity in Johnson City, TN.
Position Overview:
The Project Coordinator provides administrative and project support to a project team, helping ensure tasks, documentation, and communications are organized and completed on schedule. This role works closely with project managers, engineers, regulatory staff, and customer representatives to support reporting requirements and day-to-day project activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early to mid-career professional who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in gaining experience in a structured federal project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support the Project Manager and technical staff with daily project coordination and task tracking.
· Assist in maintaining project schedules, action item lists, and tracking tools.
· Help prepare, format, and review project documents, reports, and presentations.
· Coordinate internal and external meetings, including preparing agendas, taking meeting notes, and tracking action items.
· Assist with processing procurement requests and vendor documentation in accordance with company procedures.
· Maintain organized project files, correspondence, contact lists, and records.
· Support preparation of routine reports, status updates, and performance summaries.
· Verify data for accuracy before inclusion in reports and dashboards.
· Communicate professionally with team members, customers, and subcontractors.
· Follow company and contract procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· 3+ years of administrative, project coordination, or related experience.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
· United States Citizenship is required
