Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Procurement Expeditor opportunity in Eunice, NM at Urenco USA (UUSA) National Enrichment Facility.

 

Work Location: On-Site at Urenco.

Per diem is available for those who qualify.

 

UUSA, operated by Louisiana Energy Services LLC, is the only commercial enrichment facility operating in the US, and is located in Eunice, New Mexico.

                                                              

Procurement Expeditor

Responsibilities:

·       This position is responsible for preparing Purchase Requisitions by developing SOW’s (Scope of Work) documents as requested by the Project Manager (PM). In addition, general parts support will be provided to the project teams as assigned.  

·       This position will provide general procurement related support as assigned by the PM. The Procurement Expeditor will support all project managers and all projects within the Site Projects portfolio of projects. The individual may need to be qualified in certain duties as required by Procurement.    

 

Duties:

·       The Procurement Expeditor will be responsible for developing a SOW as requested by the PM. They will process it and once approved, convert it to a Purchase Requisition (PR) request. The Field Engineer resource will be consulted as required in developing the PRADL and including any required engineering related documents and drawings.

·       The Procurement Expeditor will take a SOW and process the PR in SAP. Once processed, they will gain site approvals and forward the ready product to the Procurement Buyer. This role will require gaining site approval in SAP.

·       The Procurement Expeditor will support the PM in development of the Sourcing Strategy and Contract Award Recommendation (SSCAR). The SSCAR will be processed, and once initial approval is gained, it will be turned over to the Procurement Buyer for final disposition and presentation to the UUSA Contract Board.  

·       Sole Source (SSJ) – The Procurement Expeditor will support the PM in development of required SSJ documents. Once processed, it will be forwarded to the Procurement buyer for presentation to the UUSA Contract Board. 

·       The Procurement Expeditor will collect all approved project related procurement documents and house them in the Project Folder for each project. Also, create a generic folder to house examples of all docs to make it easier to create/process procurement documents for future requests that are similar to already approved document. 

·       The Procurement Expeditor will provide mentoring to any new personnel hired for this role, including supporting them with required qualifications.

·       The Procurement Expeditor will support the PM as required for searching for possible parts, material or manufacturing as required. This would also apply to upfront bid package activities relating to searching for potential vendors.

·       The Procurement Expeditor will support the PM in obtaining quotes for materials and parts as required. These quotes will be provided to the buyer during the PR process or bid package development.   

·       The Procurement Expeditor will support the PM in development, management and updating of all procurement related project activities.  

 

Qualifications:

·       Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Business/Administration, Business/Management, or related field preferred.

·       2-8 years of related experience

·       Department of Energy (DOE) project experience

·       Proficiency in standard computing software including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

·       Proficiency in SAP

·       Ability to obtain and maintain NRC Q Clearance

Procurement Expeditor
Duties:
The Expeditor is the focal point for the communication, maintenance and update of supplier delivery commitments noted in contract/purchase order(s) as negotiated by the Buyer. Through regular communication with assigned suppliers, the Expeditor ensures that the latest delivery information is kept up to date and relayed to the appropriate Buyers via the use of Company internal systems/reporting.

Qualifications:
