Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for an IT Principal Project Manager opportunity to support the Savannah River Site.

 

Work Location: Greenville, SC         

 

IT Principal Project Manager-

 

The Principal Project Information Manager (PIM) acts as the Project Manager of automation technology for the project, managing the information technology, automation and information / data management requirements for the project team or office. The PIM is considered the technical authority and is charged with maximizing the efficiency of the project team and achieving the project goals through the best application of automation technology tools and methods.

 

Duties:

 

  • Promote and ensure effective knowledge sharing behaviors in the use of the Client’s knowledge management portals and communities.
  • Responsible for all automation-related activities on a project.
  • Focus on modifications and implementation of execution procedures to support Engineering, Procurement and Fabrication Construction (EPFC) execution.
  • Work with client and project management to analyze and develop the work process and identify the desired electronic interactions.
  • Coordinate the automation scope, services, budget, and schedule.
  • Coordinate design automation kickoff activities and provide overall cross-discipline automation coordination.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Education/Yrs. of Experience:

 

  • Accredited four (4)-year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and sixteen (16) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twenty (20) years if non-degreed.

 

Skills/Experience:

 

  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state / province, and federal / national statutes and guidelines.
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
  • Specialize in facilitating business process management sessions and workshops.
  • Specialize in data analyst skills and/or data quality management.
  • Specialize in business process modeling and management.
  • Conduct surveillance of industry, client, and competitor intelligence (e.g., conferences, seminars, etc.).
  • Conduct training courses for specialties or Project Information Management procedures and solutions.
  • Support Excel to Win (ETW) Strategies.
  • Support Business Transformation and Innovation (BT&I) initiatives.


Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Accredited four (4)-year degree or two (2)-year diploma, or global equivalent, in Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, or Computer Science.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in project management or information management lead position.
  • Five (5) years of experience in Project Information Management / Information Technology /Automation.
  • Five (5) years of experience in Automation support, Computer Aided Design (CAD) coordination, Project Controls, Engineering, or Procurement / contracts, or equivalent is recommended.

 

Other Requirements:

 

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance
