Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Chemical Process Engineer opportunity to support an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project.
Work Location: Greenville, SC
Senior Chemical Process Engineer-
Responsibilities:
- Conduct construction document reviews.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate process/mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startup.
- Prepare and review calculations and specifications relating to P&ID development.
- Demonstrate design experience in areas such as but not limited to mechanical systems and equipment design.
- Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specifications.
- Familiarity with computer-aided drafting applications is required.
Education/Yrs. Of Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer License
Other Job Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.
