Software Support Engineer (Low-Code)


Location Bedford - Remote First Office 1 day a month

Salary £30-38k Plus bens

We are partnering a Leading SAAS Company who are building a Customer Support Team / Software Support Team where you'll support low-code workflow applications on their Intelligent SAAS based platform. My Client offers remote UK Working for the right candidate but must be able to attend the office (Bedfordshire) 2 time s a year for appraisals and Company wide meetings. As a Software support Engineer you'll bridge the gap between Development and the Client, Working in a virtual service desk environment, the purpose of the Customer Support Engineer (CSE) is to deliver responsive, technically competent support on SAAS Low-Code solutions. As a member of the Customer Support function, the role is responsible for progressing customer incidents, problems and service requests from creation to resolution.


The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and Communication skills, coupled with a experience of Low Code Software Development, (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, APIs). from either University (Post Grad) or from a similar role in Application Support/Software Support.

• Be able to work in a technical customer facing role with professional telephone manner.

• Be able to assess new faults calmly and logically, adapting to the situation and responding

appropriately.

• Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills (oral and written) in order to communicate

effectively with our customers and with colleagues.


Desirable Skills and Knowledge

Coding and Scripting – An understanding of the following is desirable:

• Javascript

• CSS

• API’s

• Relational databases

• Process management and business workflows

• Knowledge of ITIL or ideally hold ITIL Foundation certification is advantageous.

Previous Experience:

The following experience is advantageous

• Low-code application building (can include coursework undertaken as an undergraduate or similar).

• Experience in a DevOps role

• Experience of working in an application support or IT support role, preferably interacting with

external customers.
