As a Field Applications Engineer, you will work directly with cloud service providers, hyperscalers, AI infrastructure companies, and OEM platform developers. You will help their engineering teams address one of the industry’s most consequential technical challenges: efficiently and reliably delivering power to increasingly dense, power-intensive computing platforms.
This is not simply a post-sales support position. You will influence customer architectures, product requirements, technology roadmaps, and the company’s future power-conversion portfolio.
The Company
Our client develops intelligent power-conversion and power-management solutions that help customers protect, control, and optimize critical electrical infrastructure.
Its technologies support demanding applications across data centers, telecommunications, industrial systems, and other environments where reliability, efficiency, power density, and uptime are essential.
The company’s critical-power portfolio includes board-mounted power, front-end power systems, DC/DC conversion, and power architectures designed for next-generation AI and high-performance computing infrastructure.
The Opportunity
The Field Applications Engineer will serve as the technical link between customers, the sales organization, product management, and engineering teams.
You will engage with system architects, power engineers, hardware designers, and technical decision-makers to understand their power requirements and help specify high-efficiency solutions for servers, storage systems, networking equipment, Open Compute Project platforms, and AI infrastructure.
Reporting to the Data Center Sales Leader, this is a high-visibility individual-contributor position offering meaningful customer exposure and long-term career-development potential.

The Ideal Candidate
The strongest candidate will combine credible power-electronics knowledge with the ability to build trusted relationships inside technically sophisticated customer organizations.
You should be comfortable moving between the laboratory, the customer conference room, and internal product-roadmap discussions. You can troubleshoot a technical problem, explain a complex power architecture, uncover a new design opportunity, and communicate customer priorities to senior leadership.
