Your Opportunity
We’re seeking a hands-on, strategic, and entrepreneurial VP of Sales & Marketing to lead our global growth strategy — remotely. This role is perfect for a proven sales leader who thrives at the intersection of technical innovation and business development, and who’s energized by building strong customer relationships and leading distributed teams.
You’ll collaborate directly with the CEO and a talented engineering group to expand market presence, strengthen partner relationships, and drive consistent year-over-year growth.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and own the global sales strategy to achieve 30%+ annual growth.
- Build and manage relationships with OEMs, distributors, and channel partners worldwide.
- Drive the full sales cycle — from discovery to close — using a consultative, value-driven approach.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally
- Partner closely with leadership and engineering to develop compelling proposals and custom solutions.
- Coordinate with operations to align forecasts, capacity, and delivery schedules.
- Expand Market Reach
- Identify and prioritize high-potential accounts ($1M+ over five years).
- Manage and motivate a network of international sales consultants and distributors.
- Attend trade shows and industry events to build visibility and uncover new opportunities.
- Elevate the Marketing Engine
- Oversee external marketing partners to optimize SEO, campaigns, and product launches.
- Guide content strategy, lead generation, and website enhancements to attract and convert leads.
- Execute a proactive PR and trade show strategy to position the brand as a category leader.
- Lead by Example
- Foster a culture of curiosity, customer focus, and accountability across a remote team.
- Use Salesforce CRM and SyteLine ERP to manage pipeline visibility and accurate forecasting.
- Conduct regular pipeline and strategy reviews with leadership.
What You Bring
- **MUST HAVE PHOTONICS EXPERIENCE**

3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in motion systems, sensors, or advanced manufacturing.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to communicate engineering value to business audiences.
- Experience leading consultative, solution-based sales in OEM environments.
- Proven success managing global distributors or channel partners.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, ERP tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable leading remotely.
