Anticipated Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 35–40 hours per week
Compensation: $58,000–$77,000 annually
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting and financial operations across multiple locations and business units. Reporting directly to the CEO, this hands-on position will support accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, weekly payroll, sales and use tax reporting, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable managing a variety of accounting responsibilities while maintaining accurate records, meeting deadlines, and protecting confidential financial information.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable & Contracts
Review case types, charges, cash advances, and contract details for accuracy and completeness before releasing transactions. Post customer ACH, check, and financing payments to case records, and process accounts receivable adjustments and refunds.
Accounts Payable
Process, code, and submit vendor invoices and Visa expense statements through automated bill-payment systems. Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and statement issues promptly.
Banking & Reconciliations
Monitor daily bank activity, upload Positive Pay files, and resolve banking exceptions within required deadlines. Process electronic check deposits, manual checks, and ACH transfers, and complete recurring bank reconciliations.
Payroll
Process weekly payroll accurately and on time while maintaining strict confidentiality. Partner with HR and leadership to resolve payroll questions and prepare supporting payroll reports.
Sales & Use Tax
Prepare and file monthly sales and use tax reports for each location. Maintain complete, organized documentation supporting tax calculations and location-specific filings.
Accounting Administration
Manage accounting correspondence, maintain organized financial records, and monitor location dashboards. Reconcile petty cash accounts and provide general accounting support to leadership and HR.
Internal Controls & Financial Accuracy
Apply and uphold internal control policies to safeguard financial assets and maintain general ledger integrity. Identify, investigate, and correct transaction discrepancies before accounts are finalized.
