Reports To: Director of Safety
Own the Process. Keep Cases Moving. Make a Difference.
Our recruiting team is partnering with a growing, multi-location company to find a Corporate Claims Manager who brings organization, initiative, and a people-first approach to incident and claims management.
In this role, you’ll manage incidents and claims from the first report through resolution, connecting branch operations, employees, safety, insurance carriers, and legal partners. Your work will help protect the business while ensuring employees receive clear communication and support when they need it.
This is a hands-on role—not an oversight-only management position. You’ll personally handle documentation, follow-up, and case coordination. Prior people-management experience is not required; strong claims fundamentals, sound judgment, and a willingness to take ownership matter most.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out
You’ll have meaningful responsibility for the day-to-day claims process, direct access to safety leadership, and training on company-specific procedures. It’s an opportunity to put your existing claims knowledge to work while developing broader experience across a varied operational environment.
Our client values people who follow through, collaborate, and take initiative. As the business grows, your responsibilities can expand based on your performance and development.
What You’ll Do
-
Manage incidents and claims from intake through resolution. Handle classification, documentation, escalation, follow-up, and coordination across auto, property damage, equipment-related incidents, flooding, and minor workplace injuries.
-
Help route each incident appropriately. Follow established procedures to distinguish eligible incidents handled internally—including certain non-bodily-injury matters involving hold-harmless agreements—from claims requiring insurance carrier or external legal involvement.
-
Coordinate insurance submissions and ongoing activity. Submit first notices of loss, provide supporting documentation, and manage follow-up through insurance carrier tools and portals.
-
Keep case files complete and actionable. Maintain the internal incident tracker, obtain outstanding information from branches, track case status, and proactively follow up to prevent cases from stalling.
-
Connect the right people and resources. Coordinate with branch operations, safety, HR, insurance, and legal partners, including arranging deposition logistics and supporting escalated matters.
-
Support employees with empathy. Help injured employees navigate the process with timely, clear communication while partnering with safety, HR, and legal on sensitive situations.
What You’ll Bring
-
A solid understanding of claims management, including the claims lifecycle, operational incident tracking, and third-party liability.
-
Relevant hands-on experience in insurance carrier claims, claims adjusting, or incident and claims management. Experience supporting fleet, transportation, logistics, shipping, construction, or similar operations is valuable.
-
Strong organization and follow-through. You can manage multiple active cases, maintain accurate records, and confidently follow up across teams to get the information needed.
-
Clear communication and sound judgment. You balance timely case resolution with a supportive employee experience and recognize when to involve additional partners.
-
An enthusiastic, adaptable approach. You’re comfortable handling administrative details yourself, learning new processes, and contributing in a growing organization.
No specific degree, license, or certification is required. Early- and mid-career claims professionals with strong fundamentals and growth potential are encouraged to apply. This position requires working on-site in Chandler, Arizona.
