About the Role
Pioneer Talent is exclusively partnering with a leading specialist care provider to recruit an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager.
The organisation supports individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions and complex care needs.
As Registered Manager, you will lead a committed team, ensuring high-quality, person-centred, safe care. You will be responsible for CQC compliance, service performance, operational management and continuous improvement. You will report directly into senior leadership and be part of an inspiring journey of supporting people to live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations across the service(s)
- Ensure safe, effective, compassionate, person-centred care
- Recruit, train, supervise and develop staff
- Oversee performance management and workforce development
- Maintain full compliance with CQC, H&S, safeguarding and regulatory standards
- Develop policies, care plans, risk assessments and QA systems
- Monitor budgets, resources and financial performance
- Build strong relationships with service users, families, local authorities and healthcare partners
- Champion continuous improvement and embed best practice across the service
Person Specification & Requirements
- Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) — or working towards
- Leadership/management experience in social care, ideally specialist care
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality assurance
- Ability to motivate, lead and develop diverse care teams
- Excellent communication, organisation and decision-making skills
- Confident problem solver with strong clinical and operational insight
- Budget management experience
- Flexibility to respond to emergencies and travel between sites
- DBS clearance (or ability to obtain) + relevant professional registrations
