Operations Director – Dementia & Nursing Care

Location: East Midlands

Salary: £90,000 – £110,000 + Bonus + Benefits

A respected specialist dementia and nursing care provider in the East Midlands is seeking an Operations Director to lead the next phase of growth and development.

The group operates several well-established homes, known for person-centred, family-led care and strong CQC ratings. This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact in a forward-thinking, quality-led organisation.

The Role

You’ll oversee quality, compliance, commercial performance and day-to-day operations across the group’s homes. Working closely with the Managing Director and senior team, you’ll ensure excellence in care, support future acquisitions, and embed innovation across all services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead operational performance and continuous improvement
• Oversee compliance, audits and quality governance
• Partner with Finance on budgets, occupancy and margins
• Support new home integrations and developments
• Recruit, retain and develop exceptional leaders and teams
• Champion a values-led, person-centred culture

About You

• Experienced operational leader within elderly or nursing care (multi-site preferred)
• Strong understanding of CQC standards and governance
• Proven commercial and financial acumen
• Collaborative, values-driven leadership style
• Able to commute easily within the East Midlands
