Location: East Hartford, CT
Seeking an RN Charge Nurse for new Vent Unit. 12-hour shifts available; 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am. (Candidates without Vent Unit experience will be provided training)
Compensation: Very competitive pay with Sign on Bonus FT $5000. Shift differential for evening/night shifts.

Required Experience:
- Valid state RN nursing license
- Experience in respiratory care setting is preferred but not required
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
- Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

- Guiding respiratory therapists and nursing staff to ensure high-quality care delivery

- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans for ventilator-dependent residents
- Conducting regular assessments and audits to maintain quality standards
- Providing mentorship, training, and support to nursing staff
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and protocols
