Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Warehouse Operations to lead all aspects of our Olive Branch-based distribution center. This is a high-impact leadership role that offers the opportunity to shape, streamline, and elevate operational performance across warehouse logistics, value-added services, and screen-printing production. With up to 200 team members under your guidance, you'll be instrumental in driving a safe, compliant, and high-performing work environment.

What You’ll Do

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure full compliance with OSHA and all applicable health and safety regulations.
• Promote a culture of safety through regular training and proactive initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement of safety standards across all warehouse functions.

Warehouse Management

• Oversee daily operations across receiving, inventory, production support, screen print, and shipping.
• Use tools such as huddle board discussions, gemba walks, and standardized reporting to drive front-line excellence.
• Optimize layout and material flow to improve throughput and reduce waste.
• Establish and manage KPIs to improve visibility and accountability.

Operational Excellence

• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to eliminate waste and standardize best practices.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement upgrades such as automation, WMS improvements, or new service offerings.
• Use data-driven analysis to identify gaps and lead structured problem-solving efforts.

Leadership & People Development

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 8–12 direct reports, ultimately supporting a team of 200+.
• Recruit, train, and develop operations managers and front-line staff to meet growing operational demands.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and performance.
• Conduct regular check-ins, performance reviews, and provide coaching and feedback.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• 7+ years of leadership experience in warehouse or distribution operations.
• Experience with transformational change in a warehouse setting.
• Prior training/certification in Lean or Six Sigma preferred.

• Role is based 100% on-site at the Olive Branch, MS distribution center.
• Fast-paced warehouse environment with frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
• Occasional travel (up to 25%) may be required for corporate meetings or training.
