Job Title: Cruise Sales Consultant - Team Leader

Location: Fully remote

Job Type: Direct hire, W2

Schedule: Full time - flexible, choose your own shift - must work 1 weekend day and 1-2 evenings per week

Requirements: Must have business-to-consumer (B2C) sales experience

Compensation: First year conservative target $79,000 (commissions only) - completely uncapped

Training & Work Schedule:

  • Comprehensive training provided via Teams for the first two weeks, with on-demand support for the first three months.
  • First 30 days: Regular schedule (9 AM - 5:30 PM EST)
  • After 30 days: Flexible schedule, including choosing shifts within a two-week pay period with one weekend day and 1-2 evening shifts per pay period.


Job Overview:

Join an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for sales and travel as a Cruise Sales Consultant - Team Leader. In this full-time, fully remote role, you'll lead a small sales team, build lasting client relationships, and craft personalized cruise and travel experiences while exceeding sales goals. Your team includes two Sales Assistants to handle non-sales activities, allowing you to focus on booking unforgettable vacations and growing a profitable book of business.


Responsibilities:

  • Use consultative sales skills to provide personalized travel recommendations.
  • Manage new website leads and inbound sales calls (no cold calling).
  • Follow up with past clients to secure repeat bookings and upsell additional travel services.
  • Utilize booking tools to research and craft custom travel plans.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets while managing activity levels.
  • Use Salesforce to track client interactions and manage sales activities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 3+ years of experience selling cruises or travel products.
  • Experience in a team sales environment and working with booking engines.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and tech-savvy.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Remote work setup with a quiet workspace, computer, and stable internet.
