Position Overview

Join a fast-growing national benefits firm that operates with the agility of a boutique agency and the reach of a national platform. We focus exclusively on ancillary and voluntary benefits, with a proprietary product portfolio and a modern distribution model that eliminates middleman markups and delivers real value to brokers and clients.

As a Sales Director, you'll own broker relationships in your region, selling non-medical benefits through a pure hunter model. This role is 100% focused on selling—internal teams manage all servicing, proposals, and implementation so you can focus on building revenue and long-term broker partnerships. You’ll work in a collaborative, low-hierarchy culture where your experience and insight shape our go-to-market strategy.

Why Join Us?

  • Strong Compensation Structure: Base salary of $80K–$120K
  • High Commission Rates: 40% on new business and 25% on renewals
  • High Earning Potential: Year 1 OTE up to $200K; $300-500K+ long-term
  • Access to Proprietary Programs: Sell exclusive products with favorable underwriting and competitive pricing
  • Operate Like an IMO: No middleman markups and flexibility to build your own portfolio
  • Low-Hierarchy Culture: National resources with a boutique, entrepreneurial feel

  • Existing book of broker relationships

What You’ll Do

  • Sell voluntary and ancillary benefits including MAC, MEC, MVP, STD/LTD, critical illness, accident, LTC, and ID theft
  • Develop and convert opportunities through your existing broker relationships
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Proposal Specialists, Implementation Managers, and Account Managers for post-sale execution
  • Offer strategic input on product development, carrier partnerships, and market fit
  • Travel nationally to meet brokers, close business, and strengthen key relationships
