Location: Branford, CT

Work Setting: Onsite

Travel: Up to 15% (domestic/international)

Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000 (Relocation assistance available)

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure product quality and compliance with AS9100, ISO9001, NADCAP, and FAA requirements
  • Lead root cause investigations and drive corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Analyze data to identify trends and implement quality improvement strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Manufacturing, and Engineering to drive process control and efficiency
  • Oversee inspection processes and create/maintain quality standards, quality plans, and procedures
  • Monitor KPIs such as scrap, rework, and customer complaints, and lead initiatives to reduce COPQ
  • Manage and lead internal and external audits
  • Represent Quality in customer discussions, MRB activities, and supplier quality reviews
  • Support APQP, PPAP, and new product introduction activities
  • Train and mentor teams on quality tools, processes, and best practices


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience in lieu of education)
  • 3+ years in a manufacturing quality role, preferably in aerospace or a regulated industry
  • Experience with welding, brazing, heat treat, or special process environments
  • Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience leading CAPA, MRB, and root cause investigations
  • Working knowledge of quality systems and regulatory standards (AS9100, NADCAP)
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills
  • Customer-focused mindset and ability to work cross-functionally
