Travel: ~50% within territory (day travel with limited overnight)

Position Summary
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and growing sales across the Colorado territory for a U.S.-based manufacturer of construction fasteners and engineered fastening solutions. This role focuses on building distributor relationships, expanding end-user demand, and increasing market share across residential, commercial, and structural construction applications.
This is a true territory ownership role with significant autonomy, backed by a financially stable, well-capitalized parent organization and an established manufacturing platform. The position is well suited for a hands-on, relationship-driven sales professional who understands the construction supply chain and enjoys growing a developing territory.
What You’ll Do
- Own and grow sales across the Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming territory
- Develop and manage distributor, dealer, and key end-user relationships
- Drive new business development while expanding share within existing accounts
- Support distributors through joint sales calls, product training, and jobsite support
- Identify and pursue opportunities in residential, commercial, and light structural construction
- Collaborate with internal teams including Operations, Customer Service, and Product Management
- Forecast territory performance and manage pipeline activity
- Represent the organization at trade shows, customer events, and industry functions
- Provide competitive intelligence and market feedback to leadership
- Execute territory strategy aligned with broader company growth objectives
What You Bring
- Proven territory or regional sales experience in construction materials, fasteners, or building products
- Strong understanding of distributor-based sales models
- Track record of growing a territory and closing new business
- Ability to build long-term relationships with distributors and contractors
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Comfortable operating independently in a remote, field-based role
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout Colorado
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling construction fasteners, anchors, connectors, or related products
- Background working with lumberyards, building supply distributors, or specialty dealers
- Familiarity with Colorado construction markets and customer base
- Experience launching or expanding a developing sales territory
