Financial Advisor / Retirement Planning Consultant
Location: Remote in Pennsylvania
Work Setup: Fully remote, field-based; only 2 required in-person sales meetings per year
Compensation:
- $50,000 starting salary + 63% commission on revenue generated
- Uncapped earnings; realistic total comp: $60K (Yr 1), $75K (Yr 2), $90K (Yr 3), $130K (Yr 4), $200K+ (Yrs 5–6)
- Benefits + PTO eligible
- After Year 2 → transitions to an independent contractor (1099), 100% commission
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Finance or related preferred)
- Must have or be willing to obtain required securities and insurance licenses (SIE, 6/7, 63/66, PA Life & Health)

You will operate in a protected territory with warm, endorsed access to school districts and centers of influence—no cold calling required. Advisors build relationships, present to large groups, and meet individually with clients seeking investment, retirement, and insurance guidance.

What You’ll Do
- Interview clients to assess income, expenses, insurance coverage, goals, and risk tolerance
- Analyze client data and develop tailored financial strategies
- Present and sell investment advisory services, annuities, mutual funds, and insurance
- Build relationships within the Pennsylvania education system and serve as a trusted resource for retirement planning
- Review client portfolios regularly and adjust strategies based on life changes or financial performance
- Recommend cash management, insurance, and investment strategies aligned with clients’ goals
- Build and maintain a growing book of business
- Answer client questions and deliver high-touch service throughout the planning process
Licensing Path (Flexible Based on Background)
- Recent graduates: SIE completed or in progress
- Experienced candidates: Securities registrations (SIE, Series 6 or 7 and 63/66)
- If already licensed, must have a clean FINRA BrokerCheck
- PA Life & Health Insurance License required
