Overview:

We are seeking a Structural Staff Engineer for full-time employment in our Fort Collins, CO office. The Staff Engineer will focus on completing design projects for commercial, residential, and municipal structures. This role involves planning, designing, and analyzing structural components and systems to achieve design goals. The ideal candidate will utilize computer-aided design software to analyze loads, perform engineering analysis, and develop structural models and construction documents.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $68,000 - $90,000 annually, plus discretionary bonuses.

Education and Experience:

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • 0-5 years of relevant engineering experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze residential, commercial, and municipal structures.
  • Create and verify structural design calculations, models, and plans.
  • Draft framing and foundation plans using design software.
  • Conduct project analysis with specialized software tools.
  • Design structures using steel, timber, and reinforced concrete.
  • Evaluate construction materials for strength and suitability.
  • Track structural loads to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Coordinate designs with mechanical, electrical engineers, and architects.
  • Develop reports, letters, and plans for client projects.
  • Participate in project meetings as required.
