Position Title: Quality Engineer

Job Type: Full Time, Direct Hire

Location: Cleveland, TX 77327 (onsite)

Travel: Up to 60% to supplier sites and partner facilities

Pay Rate: $100,000 – $120,000 annually, plus relocation assistance (if applicable) and full benefits


About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support the quality management system through audits, compliance verification, and process improvement initiatives at a heavy steel manufacturing facility. In this role, you will:

  • Conduct supplier quality audits from planning through reporting and follow-up, ensuring compliance with specifications
  • Analyze technical data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for corrective actions
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain
  • Support internal quality processes, including documentation, reporting, and compliance verification
  • Manage quality-related projects from initiation through completion, meeting timelines and deliverables with minimal supervision
  • Engage with diverse stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams to strengthen quality systems

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or related U.S.-based degree
  • 3–5 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or engineering (2 years with strong internships considered)
  • Proven technical and analytical skills with strong project management abilities
  • Experience in supplier quality, auditing, or compliance in a manufacturing environment preferred


Compensation & Benefits
