Position Title: Quality Engineer
Job Type: Full Time, Direct Hire
Location: Cleveland, TX 77327 (onsite)
Travel: Up to 60% to supplier sites and partner facilities
Pay Rate: $100,000 – $120,000 annually, plus relocation assistance (if applicable) and full benefits
About the Role
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support the quality management system through audits, compliance verification, and process improvement initiatives at a heavy steel manufacturing facility. In this role, you will:

Conduct supplier quality audits from planning through reporting and follow-up, ensuring compliance with specifications

Analyze technical data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for corrective actions

Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain

Support internal quality processes, including documentation, reporting, and compliance verification

Manage quality-related projects from initiation through completion, meeting timelines and deliverables with minimal supervision

Engage with diverse stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams to strengthen quality systems

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or related U.S.-based degree
- 3–5 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or engineering (2 years with strong internships considered)
- Proven technical and analytical skills with strong project management abilities
- Experience in supplier quality, auditing, or compliance in a manufacturing environment preferred
