Position Overview:
We are seeking a Customer Operations Manager to join our team in Frisco, TX. This critical role will manage and execute customer-facing activities such as Request for Proposals (RFPs), pricing proposals, and financial planning. The position requires a strong operational focus, with an emphasis on food distribution experience. This role will also focus on partnering with customers and operations leaders to understand opportunities, analyze data, and drive solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial aspects of food distribution, including budgeting, pricing, and P&L management. This is a hybrid role (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) with up to 20% travel.
Key Responsibilities

Customer Solutions and Collaboration: Build strong customer relationships, understand their needs, and align solutions with strategic goals. Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement tailored solutions.

Proposal and Pricing Management: Manage RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, ensuring accurate and timely responses. Develop pricing proposals and annual financial plans, including forecasting and cost analysis, to maximize profitability.

Project Management: Oversee customer projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met while providing updates to stakeholders.

Strategic Planning and Engagement: Partner with customers to develop long-term strategies, identify growth opportunities, and drive engagement through strategy sessions and feedback.

Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency while working closely with sales, finance, and operations teams.

Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 5 years in food or beverage logistics/distribution, with a focus on pricing, financial management, and data analysis.
- Strong experience with food distribution operations, financial acumen, and budget/P&L management.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions based on operational and financial insights.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Results-driven, customer-focused, and adaptable in dynamic environments.
- Excellent communicator with a willingness to travel up to 20%.
