Location: Pacific Northwest (Seattle metro or Portland metro strongly preferred)

Work Setting: Remote, field-based role

Territory: Pacific Northwest (Washington & Oregon with potential adjacent coverage as needed)

Travel: ~50% within territory (primarily day travel with limited overnight)

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $95,000 – $115,000 + target bonus

Position Summary

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for developing and growing sales across the Pacific Northwest territory for a U.S.-based manufacturer of specialized construction hardware and engineered building components. This role focuses on building strong distributor relationships, expanding contractor and end-user demand, and increasing market share across residential, commercial, and light structural construction applications.

This is a true territory ownership role with significant autonomy, supported by a stable organization with strong financial backing and an established manufacturing platform. The position is well suited for a hands-on, relationship-driven sales professional who understands the construction supply chain and enjoys expanding a developing territory.


What You’ll Do

  • Own and grow sales across the Pacific Northwest territory
  • Develop and manage distributor, dealer, and key end-user relationships
  • Drive new business development while expanding share within existing accounts
  • Support distribution partners through joint sales calls, product training, and jobsite support
  • Identify and pursue opportunities across residential, commercial, and light structural construction markets
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including Operations, Customer Service, and Product Management
  • Forecast territory performance and manage pipeline activity
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, customer events, and industry functions
  • Provide competitive intelligence and market feedback to leadership
  • Execute a territory strategy aligned with broader company growth objectives

What You Bring

  • Proven territory or regional sales experience within construction materials, building products, or related categories
  • Strong understanding of distributor-based sales models
  • Track record of successfully growing a territory and closing new business
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with distributors, contractors, and end users
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable operating independently in a remote, field-based environment
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout Washington and Oregon


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling construction hardware, structural components, or related engineered building products
  • Background working with lumberyards, building supply distributors, or specialty dealers
  • Familiarity with Pacific Northwest construction markets and customer base
  • Experience launching or expanding a developing sales territory
