Job Title: Multi-Site Controller
Job Type: Full Time, Direct Hire
Location: Greensboro/Colfax, NC (On-site)
Schedule: Full-time, with one week per month of local travel to Conover, NC
Compensation: $170,000 base salary + 20% bonus target + comprehensive benefits

We are a long-standing, diversified manufacturing organization with multiple business units and a reputation for operational excellence. Our facilities in North Carolina employ around 100 people and serve as a key part of a larger industrial group focused on growth, efficiency, and innovation.
We are seeking a Multi-Site Controller to oversee financial operations across two established manufacturing sites in North Carolina. This hands-on leadership position is the second-in-command within finance, reporting directly to the Group Controller. You will manage a skilled accounting team and play a central role in driving financial strategy, operational alignment, and business performance. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee AP, AR, payroll, cash management, and compliance across multiple sites.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and risk assessment models.
- Lead consolidated budgeting, forecasting, cost/margin analysis, and financial reporting.
- Generate consolidated financial statements, management reports, and ad hoc analyses.
- Partner with site leaders to align financial and operational practices, including audits.
- Serve as primary contact for internal and external audits; ensure GAAP and tax compliance.
- Support long-term strategy including acquisitions, expansions, and integrations.
- Mentor and manage a team (Accounting Manager, 2 Accountants, 2 Assistants), fostering accountability and professional growth.
Qualifications
- CPA required; CMA preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s preferred.
- 8–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience in multi-site manufacturing.
- Proven success managing multi-level accounting teams and financial operations.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, compliance, audits, and financial reporting.
- Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and risk assessment.
- ERP/accounting systems experience with advanced Excel proficiency.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
