This hands-on leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee financial operations for two established manufacturing sites in North Carolina, supporting approximately 100 employees across the region. About the Role

We are seeking a Controller to manage financial operations across two North Carolina manufacturing facilities. In this role, you will:

  • Oversee accounting functions across both sites, including AP, AR, payroll, and cash management
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and consolidated reporting for multi-site operations
  • Provide financial analysis on costs, margins, and profitability to guide strategic decisions
  • Partner closely with operations leadership to align financial performance with production and efficiency goals
  • Manage audits and ensure compliance with GAAP, tax, and regulatory standards
  • Develop and mentor a finance team of five direct and indirect reports
  • Support strategic initiatives including expansions, integrations, and future acquisitions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s preferred
  • 5–10 years of progressive accounting or finance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Expertise in GAAP, tax compliance, financial reporting, and internal controls
  • Experience with cash management, forecasting, and audit coordination
  • Strong proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
