What You’ll Do

Project Oversight: Lead geotechnical investigations from subsurface exploration to final stamped engineering reports, including foundation design, slope stability, and site recommendations.

Team Leadership: Manage and mentor engineers, geologists, field technicians, and administrative staff to ensure technical excellence and project success.

Operational Management: Oversee project budgets, schedules, staffing, invoicing, and profitability.

Client Engagement: Maintain and grow client relationships while identifying opportunities for new business across the region.

Field & Lab Coordination: Direct drilling, sampling, lab testing, and geotechnical analysis activities.

Department Growth: Support strategic hiring, performance reviews, SOP development, and succession planning.

Firm-Wide Collaboration: Contribute to internal initiatives focused on process improvement, safety, and employee engagement.

Qualifications
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or related Engineering field
- PE License (Professional Engineer)
- Minimum 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience with demonstrated leadership
- Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering
- Experience managing teams or offices within a consulting or A/E/C environment
- Familiarity with Colorado soils, geotechnical conditions, and permitting standards
