Relocation: Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates

Compensation: $95,000 – $125,000 base (flexible for highly qualified candidates) + benefits


Position Summary

The Scientific & Technical Intelligence (S&TI) Analyst is a mission-critical role supporting advanced intelligence efforts within a highly classified defense environment. This position focuses on analyzing foreign aircraft and weapons systems, delivering actionable intelligence to support national security, defense strategy, and operational readiness.

This role sits within a high-priority, time-sensitive program supporting a major intelligence initiative. The analyst will work alongside engineers, intelligence professionals, and government stakeholders to assess foreign capabilities across air-to-air, air-to-surface, and cruise missile systems.

This is an opportunity to directly impact warfighter effectiveness and national defense strategy through high-visibility, high-consequence analytical work.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical intelligence analysis on foreign aircraft and missile systems
  • Evaluate system performance, capabilities, limitations, and vulnerabilities
  • Produce detailed written intelligence reports for government and defense stakeholders
  • Support predictive intelligence and mission readiness assessments
  • Collaborate with engineers, intelligence community partners, and subject matter experts
  • Contribute to classified briefings and technical deliverables


Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance (required)
  • 3–8 years of relevant experience in intelligence analysis, engineering, or defense-related work
  • Experience working within the Intelligence Community or similar classified environments
  • Strong analytical thinking, technical writing, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Aerospace engineering background with intelligence experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (STEM field preferred; Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering desired)
  • Experience analyzing:
  • Air-to-air missile systems
  • Air-to-surface missile systems
  • Cruise missile technologies
  • Background in organizations such as NASIC, ONI, NGIC, or similar intelligence production centers
  • Experience with SIGINT or all-source intelligence analysis
  • Prior experience in defense industry (e.g., aerospace or weapons systems development)
