Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Construction Superintendents to lead the on-site execution of large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects across the United States. This role is responsible for managing daily field operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring work is completed to the highest standards of quality.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or large-scale ground-up construction, with experience managing complex projects involving multiple trades, demanding schedules, and highly technical building systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily on-site construction activities, ensuring work progresses safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and specifications.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, trade partners, vendors, and field personnel.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate look-ahead schedules to meet critical project milestones.
• Coordinate the installation and integration of major building systems, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and other mission-critical infrastructure.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control, code compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
• Lead daily huddles, subcontractor coordination meetings, and project progress meetings.
• Enforce site-specific safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and company safety policies.
• Identify potential scheduling conflicts, constructability issues, and field challenges, implementing solutions to minimize delays and rework.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, design teams, and commissioning personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, track manpower and productivity, and communicate project status to leadership.
• Support testing, commissioning, and turnover activities to ensure the facility is delivered in accordance with project requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial, industrial, or large-scale construction supervision experience preferred.
• Experience managing ground-up construction projects; data center or mission-critical experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, quality control, and site safety.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and complex mechanical and electrical scopes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and technical documents.
• Proven ability to lead field teams, resolve jobsite issues, and deliver projects on schedule.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with construction management and scheduling platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 is preferred.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to project sites nationwide.
