Landscape Architect – High-End Residential Design

We’re now recruiting for a visionary Landscape Architect who can marry artistry with technical precision and steward projects from first sketch through final flourish.

What You’ll Do

·      Concept to Completion. Develop master plans, detailed planting schemes, and hardscape/amenity designs (pools, outdoor kitchens, bespoke garden structures).

·      Assist in Client & Collaborator Communications. Sharing design narratives to homeowners; coordinate seamlessly with architects, interior designers, and GCs.

·      Technical Excellence. Produce construction documents, grading/drainage plans, 3D renderings, and material palettes that meet the area’s municipality codes.

·      Project Leadership. Assist in overseeing design to budgets, achieving scheduling goals and and quality control to deliver stunning projects fulfilling the design vision.

·      Innovation & Stewardship. Integrate sustainable/organic practices, native plantings, and cutting-edge outdoor tech where appropriate.

 

What You Bring

·      B.A.,BLA/MLA (preferred) and 3+ years designing high-end residential landscapes; Illinois licensure (or path to licensure) preferred.

·      Portfolio showcasing sophisticated design language, exquisite detailing, and successful built work for luxury residential properties.

·      Fluency in CAD (AutoCAD), SketchUp/Lumion or similar rendering software, and Adobe Creative Suite.

·      Strong communication and presentation skills—able to inspire confidence with discerning clientele.

·      Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent projects while maintaining creative + quality  standards and deadlines.

·      Passion for design trends, sustainability, and elevating outdoor living experiences.
