Our client operates as an approved design organisation, delivering a wide range of aircraft modification solutions, including avionics integrations and cabin upgrades across specialised aviation sectors.


The Role

An opportunity is available for an Avionics Design Engineer to support the design and certification of aircraft modifications. This role offers a mix of technical responsibility, project involvement, and customer interaction within a dynamic and growing environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop concepts and detailed designs for avionics modifications
  • Produce and manage engineering documentation using relevant design tools
  • Support certification activities, including safety assessments and compliance documentation
  • Contribute to testing activities and evaluation of results
  • Engage with regulatory authorities where required
  • Act as Project Engineer on modification projects (depending on experience)
  • Support customer interactions and occasional commercial activities


Candidate Profile


Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in avionics, electronics, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Experience with avionics design tools (e.g. electrical CAD systems)
  • Understanding of certification and regulatory compliance frameworks
  • Fluent in English (mandatory)
  • Willingness to travel as required
