Aircraft Maintenance Technician (A&P Licensed) Full-time


About the Role


Phoenix operates within the aviation maintenance sector, delivering high-quality technical services across a wide range of aircraft maintenance activities. We are seeking a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Technician to support inspection, repair, and maintenance operations in accordance with approved regulatory standards.


The Opportunity:


In this role, you will carry out assigned maintenance tasks in line with approved technical data and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, properly documented, and meets full airworthiness criteria.

You will work as part of a structured maintenance environment where accuracy, safety, and compliance are essential. The role requires attention to detail, strong documentation practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a regulated setting.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform all assigned maintenance work in accordance with approved regulatory data
  • Ensure all work is properly documented and recorded
  • Maintain aircraft in a fully airworthy condition following completion of tasks
  • Keep work areas, facilities, and maintenance environments clean and organised
  • Support additional operational or maintenance tasks as required by supervision or management
  • Ensure adherence to all safety, quality, and compliance standards
  • Participate in required testing and regulatory compliance processes where applicable


Your Profile:


You are a detail-oriented and disciplined aviation professional who takes pride in producing accurate, compliant, and safe work. You are comfortable working in a structured environment and can manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards.


What You Bring:


  • Valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
  • Minimum of 2+ years of recent experience using an A&P license
  • Experience on large commercial aircraft is preferred; corporate, general aviation, or military experience will also be considered
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality

Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to climb steps, ladders, and maintenance stands
  • Normal or corrected vision and hearing required
  • Ability to work in environments with continuous loud noise
