Phoenix Solutions & Consulting have partnered with a leading maintenance provider for civil and military aircraft based in Central Europe. The successful B1 technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the F35 or F16 fighter aircraft
An F-16 avionics technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing the avionics systems aboard the F-16 fighter jet. Avionics technicians work with a variety of electronic equipment, communications systems, radars, navigation systems , and other critical avionics components to ensure the aircraft's proper operation
Main responsibilities:

Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose electronic and avionics problems using specialized test tools and troubleshooting procedures.

Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs, adjustments, and replacements on defective avionics components. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability.

Installation: Install new, existing and/or repaired avionics equipment according to technical specifications and safety standards.

Systems Upgrade: Participate in modernization programs by upgrading existing avionics systems to meet current standards.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, tests conducted, and parts used. Ensure compliance with regulations and internal procedures.

Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the maintenance team to ensure the operational availability of the aircraft.
Requirements
- Practical experience in avionics maintenance, preferably on fighter aircraft such as the F16.
- In-depth knowledge of avionics systems , communication protocols and safety standards.
- Basic knowledge of English
- Must meet NATO security clearance eligibility
