Overview:


Our client is a well-established wealth management firm seeking an experienced Operations Manager / Practice Manager to serve as a true operational extension of the advisors. This role is designed for someone who understands how a financial advisory practice runs and can independently manage day-to-day operations, systems, and process improvement.



This individual will take ownership of operational workflows, clean up and optimize systems, and help prepare the firm for long-term growth. There is a clear career trajectory for the right person.



Key Responsibilities:


Practice Operations:


  • Own daily operations and ensure the practice runs efficiently
  • Create, document, and maintain SOPs across the firm
  • Identify gaps in workflows and proactively implement solutions
  • Remove operational tasks from the advisors’ plates


Broker Dealer & Client Operations:


Manage broker dealer-related operational items including:


  • Account opening and maintenance
  • Distributions and transfers
  • Beneficiary updates
  • Case processing and follow-through
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and attention to detail across all client-related activity


Systems & Technology:


  • Oversee CRM and practice technology, including:
  1. Advisor360
  2. ClientWorks
  3. OnceHub
  • Lead system clean-up efforts to improve data accuracy and efficiency
  • Manage an upcoming system/platform transition and serve as the internal point person


Team Support & Onboarding:


  • Onboard new hires, including systems access and workflow training
  • Support advisors and team members with operational best practices
  • Help create structure and consistency as the firm grows



Ideal Candidate:


  • Prior experience in a wealth management or financial advisory environment
  • Strong understanding of advisory operations and broker dealer workflows
  • Highly independent with the ability to work without hand-holding
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven
  • Comfortable owning projects from start to finish
  • Confident working directly with founders and senior advisors
  • Experience with Advisor360, ClientWorks, or similar platforms preferred



Compensation:


Option 1: Mid-Level Operations Professional

Base Salary: $75,000 – $90,000


  • Bonus potential available


Option 2: Senior Operations Leader

Base Salary: $90,000 – $110,000


  • Bonus potential available
