Compensation: $120,000–$150,000 total compensation


Variable Compensation: ~15% of base


Licensing Required: Series 7, Series 66, NC Life & Health


Preferred Credentials: CFP®, CFA, CPA, J.D. or similar



Overview:


Our client is seeking a Relationship Manager to step into a leadership-level advisory role within a growing wealth management firm.


This individual will serve as first-chair advisor to approximately 60 clients while also supporting higher net worth relationships in a second or third chair capacity. This is a high-visibility role with meaningful revenue responsibility and leadership opportunity.


The ideal candidate is ambitious, analytical, competitive, and deeply committed to delivering comprehensive financial planning that goes well beyond product recommendations.



Key Responsibilities:


Client Advisory:


  • Serve as first-chair advisor to ~60 clients
  • Deliver comprehensive financial planning across investments, tax strategy, real estate, cash management, credit, and alternatives
  • Tailor advice to client family dynamics and behavioral considerations
  • Support senior advisors on complex, high-net-worth relationships



Revenue & Growth:


  • Expand assets under management
  • Drive insurance implementation as part of holistic planning
  • Contribute directly to firm growth initiatives



Leadership & Development:


  • Mentor and develop team members who support you
  • Lead client experience standards
  • Maintain strict adherence to compliance and regulatory standards



Ideal Candidate:


  • Series 7, 66, and NC Life & Health required
  • Deep financial planning experience (not purely product-based)
  • Strong understanding of taxation, planning thresholds, and balance sheet strategy
  • Demonstrated business development success
  • Clean U4 and strong professional references
  • Experience mentoring or coaching team members
